School Counselor and Technology Survey
| |
Dear Counselor, We are counselor educators in the College of Education at Florida Gulf Coast University and Suffolk University. The purpose of this research study is to better understand the perceived level of importance of various technological competencies among school counselors. You are being asked to participate in this survey which we anticipate to require no more than 16 minutes. Your participation will involve answering survey questions on the web which asks you to rate the importance of various technological competencies in your work. Although there may be no immediate benefit to you, the possible benefit of your participation is gaining a better understanding of the state of our profession in terms of technological literacy, professional development, and the importance of particular technological competencies. All information received will be confidential; Information from the study may be shared through publications and presentations at conferences, used in school counselor training, or otherwise applied to the study of school counseling technology.
