The Time
Elapsed Analysis & Reporting System (T.E.A.R.S.) is
a Microsoft Excel add-in that automatically calculates
the total amount of time that you have spent in
different aspects of your work. After exporting your
calendar data from Microsoft Outlook to Excel, this
add-in extracts elapsed time, sums up the number of
hours in each category, and then produces both a table
and a chart. If you ever wondered where your time goes,
you will want to use T.E.A.R.S. to learn more.

How to Run a Poll on Google Plus
Facebook offers a useful “questions” feature that allows you
to conduct polls and people can participate in the poll right inside
their Facebook newsfeed. You can create polls on your Facebook Page
(see example) though not on your personal profile. Google Plus,
unlike Facebook, doesn’t include support for polls but there’s a
little workaround that will help you convert a regular status update
into a live poll. To get a better picture, please see this sample
poll running completely inside Google Plus.

Loads of Troubleshooting Help From
Microsoft, All In One Place
Source:
Gizmo’s
If you're having a problem on your PC, you probably start by
searching for the solution with Google. However, a better route (or
something to try if Google isn't successful) might be to go straight
to Microsoft's web site. The trouble, if course, is knowing where
to start, and how to bypass the sales blurb and get straight to the
useful info.
A good entry point is http://support.microsoft.com/find-solutions
in most cases. Choose the product you need help with, and the
specific version of Windows if relevant, and you'll find a friendly
menu of common problems and solutions. In many cases, you can even
download a special fix file which will solve your problem with a
single click.

Sticky notes programs that allow you to brainstorm an idea by moving
notes around on screen are nothing new. Online systems that allow
you to do the same thing without installing a program on your PC are
common. But Stormboard takes the concept to a new level, by adding
real-time collaboration. You can share note boards across the
internet, and each participant can move notes, add new ones, make
comments, and so on. It's a great way to discuss a new idea. And
once you're done, you can save the resulting board as an image, PDF
file or spreadsheet. Currently free for up to 1 administrator and 5
participants.
