Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3)
The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C). The IC3 gives the victims of cyber crime a convenient and easy-to-use reporting mechanism that alerts authorities of suspected criminal or civil violations. For law enforcement and regulatory agencies at the federal, state, local and international level, IC3 provides a central referral mechanism for complaints involving Internet related crimes.
Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Program
The ICAC Task Force Program was created to help State and local law enforcement agencies enhance their investigative response to offenders who use the Internet, online communication systems, or other computer technology to sexually exploit children. The program is currently composed of 45 regional Task Force agencies and is funded by the United States Office Of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. The Training & Technical Assistance Program was established to assist these agencies with training and technical assistance in support of their Internet Crimes Against Children initiatives.

Questioning the Notion of Online Predators
The study (pdf), “Online ‘Predators’ and Their Victims: Myths, Realities and Implications for Prevention,” was published in American Psychologist, an APA journal. The research was based on three surveys over the last six years. Two of them involved telephone interviews of a combined 3,000 Internet users between the ages of 10 and 17, first in 2000 and again in 2005. The third survey involved 12 interviews with federal, state and local law enforcement officials between October 2001 and July 2002.

Teenangels
Teenangels is a group of 13-18 year-old volunteers that have been specially trained by the FBI, local law enforcement, and many other leading safety experts in all aspects of online safety, privacy, and security. Youth Violence and Electronic Media
In December 2007 the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention sponsored a supplement to the Journal of Adolescent Health and a list of resources on cyberbullying for parents, teachers and administrators is included.
